The first game
Minecraft Dungeons (2020): DLC, editions and is it worth playing now?

Is it still updated?
No. The last content update was version 1.17 in November 2022, and Mojang announced the end of development in September 2023, when the game had reached 25 million players.
Is it worth playing in 2026?
Yes, if you want a shorter, simpler dungeon crawler: it's a complete game with years of content, and four-player couch co-op makes it great for families. Playing it on your Microsoft account also qualifies you for the free Hero Cape in Dungeons II and Minecraft. If you want a bigger open world and deeper builds, go straight to Minecraft Dungeons II.
