How to download and install Roblox on PC, Mac, phone and Chromebook
Roblox installs in a minute or two. The steps depend on your device, and the only trap is downloading it from somewhere other than Roblox or your app store.
Windows PC and Mac
- Open roblox.com in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or (on Mac) Safari, and log in.
- Open any game and press the green Play button.
- A pop-up says Roblox Player is installing. Wait for it to finish.
- Press Play again. If the browser asks which program to use, choose Roblox and tick the box to remember it.
On Mac with Firefox, Roblox may ask you to pick the app. Choose Roblox.app from your Applications folder.
iPhone, iPad, Android and Fire tablets
- Open the App Store, Google Play or Amazon Appstore.
- Search for Roblox and check the developer is Roblox Corporation.
- Install it, open it and log in or sign up.
Chromebook
Chromebooks run the Android app. You need Chrome OS 53 or later, and the Google Play Store must be turned on in your Chromebook settings. Then install Roblox from Google Play as on a phone.
