Warhammer Survivors launches November 10 with more than 40 playable champions

Warhammer Survivors launches November 10 with more than 40 champions across Warhammer 40,000 and Age of Sigmar, including newly revealed Morvenn Vahl and Lyssa Revenya.

Warhammer Survivors will launch on November 10, bringing its survivor-like spin on Games Workshop’s worlds to PlayStation 5 with a roster Auroch Digital says will grow beyond 40 playable champions.

The October 6 update also adds two names to that roster: Morvenn Vahl from *Warhammer 40,000* and Lyssa Revenya from *Warhammer Age of Sigmar*. That split matters because *Warhammer Survivors* is not folding the two settings into one shared campaign. The game is drawing characters, enemies and weapons from both universes while keeping their identities distinct inside the same arcade-style format.

Morvenn Vahl is built around sustained fire

Morvenn Vahl enters with her Heavy Bolter Fidelis as a defining weapon. Auroch Digital describes her as a ranged character whose fire rate increases as she keeps attacking, encouraging players to maintain pressure rather than treating each shot as a separate burst.

Her miracle ability pushes that idea further by temporarily accelerating the weapon. The developer also says Fidelis can evolve into a missile launcher, changing the shape of her damage output as a run develops.

Those details establish Vahl’s intended role without requiring a hands-on verdict. The official description points to a champion who rewards continuous ranged pressure and whose weapon progression can shift from rapid fire into heavier explosive attacks.

Lyssa Revenya leans into movement and control

Lyssa Revenya arrives from *Age of Sigmar* with a different toolset. Her Rope and Grapnel ability lets her move quickly across the battlefield while damaging enemies caught along the path.

Auroch Digital says the weapon can evolve into Ghost of Rhea, which adds a spectral companion to the build. The important contrast is structural: where Vahl’s reveal focuses on sustained ranged output, Lyssa’s showcase puts mobility and repositioning closer to the centre of her kit.

That difference helps explain why the 40-plus champion count is more than a number on the store page. A large roster only matters if characters create different decisions during a run, and the October 6 reveal is at least showing two clearly different starting approaches.

Both Warhammer universes feed the same larger roster

The wider project draws on characters and equipment from both *Warhammer 40,000* and *Warhammer Age of Sigmar*. PlayStation’s announcement says the final game will contain more than 40 playable champions, with weapons and upgrades tied to those settings.

PC Gamer’s October coverage also places the November 10 date in the context of the game’s current demo and its broader attempt to build on the familiar survivor-like formula. That independent coverage confirms the release timing while leaving quality judgements where they belong: with actual play rather than announcement copy.

For now, the useful news is straightforward. *Warhammer Survivors* has a November 10 launch date, its roster spans both major Warhammer settings, and Morvenn Vahl and Lyssa Revenya give a clearer picture of how differently individual champions are meant to play.

The game still has to prove how much variety those 40-plus characters create over repeated runs. The October 6 reveal does not answer that yet, but it does make the roster strategy easier to read: familiar Warhammer names are being used as mechanically distinct starting points, not just collectible faces on the same build.
