The Crew Motorfest Season 11 opens Kaua'i for free on October 7, adds Road Progression and wildlife, and starts Year 4 alongside the paid Tomb Raider expansion.

The Crew Motorfest Season 11 is live from October 7, opening Kaua'i as a free island and starting Year 4 with a much bigger emphasis on off-road exploration.

Ubisoft's Season 11 overview puts the free Kaua'i Expeditions playlist at the centre of the update. The island adds 95 km of asphalt and 105 km of off-road routes, while the new Road Progression system turns exploration across O'ahu, Maui and Kaua'i into a map-filling objective rather than just a scenic detour.

Kaua'i is the free part of the expansion

The useful distinction is between the free island and the paid Tomb Raider content. Kaua'i joins the base game for Season 11, while Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni'ihau is a separate premium playlist that opens Ni'ihau and adds its own themed vehicles and activities.

Season 11 also introduces a winch mechanic for selected vehicles. Ubisoft describes it as a way to move debris and clear obstacles while exploring Kaua'i, which fits the season's shift away from simply following marked roads. Road Progression then rewards uncovering territory across the three main islands.

Wildlife is part of that exploration layer too. Ubisoft says more than 40 species can now be found around the archipelago, with players able to locate and photograph them. That does not turn Motorfest into a wildlife game, obviously, but it does give the quieter stretches of the map something else to do besides waiting for the next hairpin.

The season's vehicle rollout covers 20 new vehicles across cars, bikes, planes, quads and a new RC car. Ubisoft says the full line-up will roll out through Season 11 rather than arriving all at once.

Year 4 Pass bundles the paid lane

The Year 4 Pass also launches on October 7. Ubisoft lists it at $29.99 / €29.99 and says it includes 21 vehicles across Year 4, the Elite Bundles and the Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni'ihau DLC with five exclusive vehicles.

That makes the ownership split fairly clear. The free Season 11 update brings Kaua'i, Road Progression, wildlife and other system changes. The pass adds a longer paid vehicle programme and includes the Tomb Raider expansion, which can also be bought separately.

Ubisoft's content overview lists Tomb Raider: Secrets of Ni'ihau as a separate DLC pack available October 7 and prices it at $9.99 / €9.99. The DLC includes playlist access, Ni'ihau itself, five exclusive vehicles and four dinosaur species.

Switch 2 follows one day later

Season 11 is an October 7 update, but the Nintendo Switch 2 version is a separate milestone. Ubisoft lists October 8, 2026 for that release.

For existing players, the immediate change is therefore not one giant paid expansion. It is a free map-and-exploration update with optional paid content layered beside it.

Kaua'i is the headline because it changes the space everyone can drive through. The Tomb Raider crossover and Year 4 Pass are the commercial extras. Keeping those two lanes separate makes Season 11 easier to read — and avoids treating every shiny new island on the map as another purchase.
