Riders Republic's Fall Season 20 is live, adding scooters as the headline new gear and starting a season built around the game's fifth anniversary.
Ubisoft's October 7 announcement says the scooter system was developed with professional riders Timon Pharabod and Jonathan Perroni. Ethic and Envy gear joins the game alongside a Full Send model, while a developer-made user-generated event offers a Golden Scooter to players who finish inside its top 10 leaderboard positions.
The Scooter has its own paid event lane
The new gear is not simply dropped into every account with the season. Ubisoft says 11 familiar events are available to players who buy the Scooter, so access to that dedicated event run is tied to owning the new gear.
The announcement does not publish a price for the Scooter, which is worth keeping explicit. The useful information is what the purchase unlocks: the new gear type, its trick list and those 11 returning events adapted around it.
There is also a competitive challenge attached to the launch. Ubisoft has made its own UGE event, and the top 10 players on that leaderboard can earn a Golden Scooter. It is a narrow reward rather than a general participation unlock, so most players should treat it as a leaderboard target, not a seasonal freebie.
Season 20 also brings the Ethic and Envy brands into the Republic. Ubisoft describes the Scooter as a new way to ride through events and parks, but the company has not used this announcement to claim a broader physics or world overhaul.
The current Riders Republic news feed also places Fall Season 20 as the active seasonal update, separating it from older anniversary material. That sounds mundane, but it matters in a live game where event pages and season numbers stay online long after their rewards are gone.
The fifth anniversary gets a separate progression track
The season is also carrying Riders Republic's fifth-anniversary celebrations. Ubisoft says seasonal progression will award crossover-themed items drawn from other Ubisoft games, including *The Crew*, *Just Dance*, *Rayman* and *Brawlhalla*.
More anniversary news is being held for an October 20 livestream at 6 p.m. CET / 9 a.m. PT on Ubisoft's Twitch channel. The publisher promises announcements, reveals and guests, but it has not detailed those announcements yet. Anything beyond the date and format would be guessing.
Season 20 will close with the Full Send Finale, a second developer-made UGE that uses gear released over the past year on the X Games ramp. That gives the season a neat bookend: scooters at the front, then a showcase of the previous year's gear at the end.
The practical split is therefore pretty clean. Season 20 itself is live and carries anniversary progression rewards. The Scooter introduces a new paid gear path with 11 events. The Golden Scooter is a top-10 competition reward. And the next big information drop is scheduled for October 20.
If you only want the anniversary rewards, the announcement does not say you need to buy the Scooter. If you want the dedicated Scooter events, you do. That is the trade-off worth knowing before the fifth-anniversary noise starts getting louder.
