Xbox has set the date for its Tokyo Game Show 2026 broadcast: September 17 at 7:00pm JST, with a stream on official Xbox channels and Tokyo Game Show's YouTube channel. Microsoft says the presentation will show games coming to Xbox this year, with TGS-exclusive content and new gameplay.
That is the confirmed promise. It is not an invitation to invent a mystery lineup before the stream starts. In Xbox Wire's announcement, Microsoft names host Misuzu Araki and confirms parts of its physical Tokyo presence, including Minecraft Dungeons II, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 through partner Happinet, and an Xbox FanFest event. Xbox's recent-news feed also lists the TGS announcement among the platform's current updates.
Minecraft Dungeons II is the clearest hands-on draw
Minecraft Dungeons II is getting its first Tokyo Game Show floor appearance after its gamescom debut. Xbox says visitors in Japan will be able to get hands-on with the co-op dungeon crawler ahead of its September 29, 2026 release, when it is also due to launch day one with Game Pass.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 will be on the show floor as well, presented with Happinet. The announcement says attendees will be able to play multiplayer before the game's global launch on October 23. Those are concrete floor plans; they do not tell us what unannounced projects might appear in the broadcast.
The stream itself is scheduled for 7:00pm JST, which Xbox lists as 3:00am Pacific, 6:00am Eastern and 11:00am UK time. The global Xbox YouTube feed is due to carry 4K video, American Sign Language and English audio description. Xbox also says additional subtitle or language support will be added after the broadcast.

The show-floor details already give Minecraft Dungeons II and Modern Warfare 4 players something specific to look for, while the broadcast lineup itself remains deliberately broader.
