GTA Online's newest supercar has finished its GTA+ head start. The Pegassi Horus, added to current versions of Grand Theft Auto Online on September 10, is now available for general purchase after a one-week period in which GTA+ members could claim it early.
Rockstar's Title Update 1.73 notes spell out the timetable: the Horus arrived on September 10 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC Enhanced/Legacy, with GTA+ early access running until September 17. Rockstar's Newswire promoted the same one-week window when the car landed.
For returning GTA V players, that means there is no longer a subscription timer to think about. The car has moved into the normal GTA Online pool rather than disappearing with the early-access promotion.
The Horus is part of GTA Online's rolling 2026 vehicle drops
Rockstar has been using short GTA+ head starts repeatedly this year. The same update history shows the Gallivanter Warden arriving in August with a similar one-week member window, while other 2026 updates added drift-tuning options, Random Transform Races and new heist content.
The Horus fits that pattern: a new Super-class vehicle gets a brief subscriber perk, then becomes available more broadly. That is worth separating from the way limited-time rewards work in GTA Online. Rockstar's update notes describe the Horus as becoming available for general purchase after September 17, not as a car that vanishes when the GTA+ claim window closes.
GTA+ itself remains optional and is currently offered for the newer GTA Online versions on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced on PC. The subscription can add monthly benefits and early-access promotions, but it is not required to keep playing GTA Online.
PC Enhanced also received a September fix
The same Title Update 1.73 record shows a September 15 PC Enhanced update containing general fixes. Rockstar does not publish a longer issue-by-issue breakdown for that entry, so it would be a stretch to attach specific performance or stability claims to it. The confirmed point is narrower: PC Enhanced received another maintenance update five days after the Horus was added.
That distinction matters because Grand Theft Auto V now exists across several generations and two PC branches. The Horus was added to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and both PC Enhanced and PC Legacy. Rockstar's support notes do not list PS4 or Xbox One for the September 10 vehicle addition even though the overall Title Update 1.73 page covers those platforms for earlier changes.
The practical update is simple. If you saw the Horus advertised as a GTA+ early-access car and assumed you had missed it, you have not. The early claim period ended on September 17 and Rockstar says the car moved to general purchase after that date.
GTA Online has accumulated enough overlapping versions, memberships and weekly promotions that small availability details can get muddy fast. In this case, the answer is refreshingly clean: the Pegassi Horus is no longer locked behind its one-week GTA+ head start.
This is also a GTA V-era update, not a GTA VI availability change. Rockstar continues to update GTA Online separately while its next mainline game follows its own release schedule and announcements.
