EA FC 26 Pre-Season lets Ultimate Team rewards carry into FC 27 from October 23

EA FC 26 Pre-Season offers specifically marked FC 27 Ultimate Team rewards from October 23, with same-account and platform-family rules attached.

EA Sports FC 26 is using its late-season Ultimate Team event to give players a small head start in FC 27, but the important word is specific. Pre-Season does not move an entire FC 26 club into the next game. It awards clearly marked carryover rewards for completing eligible objectives.

EA's August 28 Pre-Season announcement says those rewards become available in FC 27 from October 23. It also sets account and platform conditions that are worth checking before anyone grinds the objectives assuming everything will follow them automatically.

The carryover list is deliberately limited

EA's current Pre-Season page lists several FC 27 rewards attached to Live Events Objectives across the event. They include an Anticipate Base PlayStyle Evolution capped at 83 OVR, an untradeable 81+ x3 pack, a Shadow Striker++ CAM Role evolution capped at 83 OVR, a Pinged Pass Base PlayStyle Evolution, a five-match Base Heroes loan player pick, and a tradeable 82+ player pick paired with 10,000 coins.

The first week uses the Final Whistle Event, with a Final Whistle Tournament following in the second week. EA is also running Daily Play, Completionist and Champions objectives alongside the carryover tasks.

FUTWIZ's live objective tracker independently shows the Pre-Season: Final Whistle Event and labels its FC 27 rewards for October 23, matching EA's timing for the new carryover set.

Same EA Account, same platform family

EA says players must log into FC 27 Ultimate Team using the same EA Account and platform family used to earn the rewards in FC 26. The earned carryover rewards must then be redeemed within one month.

That platform-family rule is important for anyone planning a hardware change. The event should not be read as a promise that rewards earned on one console ecosystem can be collected on another simply because the email address is the same.

It is equally important not to confuse these marked rewards with normal Ultimate Team inventory. EA is describing a list of rewards earned specifically for FC 27. It is not saying that an ordinary FC 26 coin balance, full squad or general item collection transfers into the new game.

Pre-Season is a bridge, not a migration

That makes the event easier to understand. Players can keep using an end-of-cycle FC 26 squad to complete short-term objectives, while selected rewards are banked for the opening stretch of FC 27. The value is in arriving with a few packs, role or PlayStyle options, loans and coins that were explicitly tagged for the new game.

For anyone taking part, the practical checks are simple: make sure the objective actually says it grants an FC 27 carryover reward, confirm the EA Account and platform family you intend to use, and remember the redemption window once those rewards become available.

EA's current announcement says the new Pre-Season carryover rewards start appearing in FC 27 from October 23. Until EA publishes any additional transfer rules, players should assume only the specifically listed carryover rewards move forward.

That narrow definition is useful because Ultimate Team's annual reset can be easy to misread. Pre-Season is rewarding completion of named objectives, not quietly converting a mature FC 26 club into an FC 27 one.
