PlayStation’s Gamescom roundup tracks 19 games headed to PS5, including several September releases, a growing 2027 slate and multiple undated projects.

PlayStation has turned Gamescom Opening Night Live into a 19-game PS5 watchlist, collecting projects shown at the event into one roundup with release dates ranging from this week to 2027 and beyond. The useful part is not the number alone; it is that several of the highlighted games now have specific dates while others have settled into clearer release windows.

The list is about games coming to PlayStation. It is not a claim that all 19 are PlayStation exclusives, and reading it that way would overstate what the PlayStation Blog actually says. PC Gamer's live Opening Night Live coverage also places many of the same announcements in the wider multi-platform event rather than an exclusivity showcase.

Several dates are close enough to put on the calendar

The near-term group starts quickly. Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy is listed for August 27, followed by Mewgenics on September 8 and Aniimo on September 16. Control Resonant and Silent Hill: Townfall are both dated for September 24, while Valor Mortis is set for October 13.

Path of Exile 2's 1.0 release is further out on December 11, but it is still specific enough to separate from the projects carrying only a year or broad season. The roundup also notes that the Crimson Desert enhancement is available now, so not every item in the 19-game collection is waiting for a future launch date.

Those dates make the list more useful than a normal trailer recap. Players can start sorting releases into “soon,” “later this year” and “next year” instead of keeping everything in an undifferentiated Gamescom pile.

2027 is already filling out

The longer-range slate includes Ananta on January 15, 2027, Metro 2039 in February and Exodus on April 7. Final Fantasy VII Revelation and Turok Origins are both listed for spring 2027, while Rainbow Six Tactics, Ontos and the Dungeons & Dragons project Warlock are also placed in 2027 without the same day-level precision.

Then there are the TBC projects: LEGO Skylines, Exterminauts and Tides of Annihilation remain without a firm date in the PlayStation roundup. That distinction matters because event trailers can make everything feel equally close even when publishers are working with very different levels of schedule certainty.

For PS5 owners, the best use of the roundup is as a release-watch list rather than a shopping list today. The dated games are the ones to put on a calendar now; the 2027 and TBC projects are better treated as things to follow for new trailers, store pages and firmer launch information.

Gamescom announcements can move, and release dates can still change after an event. PlayStation's post is a snapshot of what developers and publishers had announced by August 25, not a guarantee that every project will arrive exactly on the first date or window shown.

A good way to keep the list manageable is to separate confirmed dates from broad windows in your own wishlist. Put the August, September, October and December games into calendar reminders, keep the spring and 2027 projects in a watchlist, and leave TBC titles without artificial countdowns until their publishers give them one.
