Microsoft's first Game Pass wave for November runs both ways. New games arrive through November 17, and on November 15 thirteen games leave the service while eight older Xbox games join Game Pass Essential.
The list comes from Xbox Wire's November 3 post by Megan Spurr, and Gematsu's round-up lists the same dates and tiers.
Out now
Two games landed on November 3. Football Manager 27 is on PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and Pit of Goblin arrived on cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC for Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.
Xbox Wire also flags Gravhounds, a Game Preview title on cloud, Series X|S and PC for Ultimate and PC Game Pass, as available now.
The rest of the wave, by date
- November 4: Vampire Crawlers: The Turbo Wildcard from Vampire Survivors (cloud, Series X|S, handheld, PC), which Xbox Wire says is now with Game Pass Premium, plus VOID/BREAKER, which is now on Series X|S and cloud as well as PC, for Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.
- November 5: Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School (cloud, Series X|S, handheld, PC) is day one on Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Xbox Wire bills it as "the first open world escape room game". Firefighting Simulator: Ignite arrives the same day on Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass, and MySims: Cozy Bundle comes to console and cloud for Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
- November 10: Football Manager 2027 Console, Warhammer Survivors and TANUKI: Pon's Summer all arrive day one on Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Xbox Wire calls Warhammer Survivors "an officially licensed game from Auroch Digital", made in partnership with Vampire Survivors developer poncle.
- November 11: Hope in the City lands day one on Ultimate and PC Game Pass, and Thronefall arrives on Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.
- November 12: John Carpenter's Toxic Commando, on Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.
- November 17: Aphelion, which Xbox Wire says was made in partnership with the European Space Agency, joins Premium, and Paw Patrol: Dino World arrives on Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass.
One thing to watch: the day-one premieres, including Escape Academy 2 and Warhammer Survivors, are listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass only, not Premium. Check your tier before you clear the weekend.
Eight older games join Essential on November 15
On November 15, Xbox Wire lists eight games coming to Game Pass Essential: Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Gears of War: Judgment, Halo: Spartan Assault, Perfect Dark, Viva Piñata and Viva Piñata: TIP. All are on cloud and console, and Halo: Spartan Assault is on PC too.
Leaving on November 15
Thirteen games leave Game Pass that day, according to Xbox Wire: 1000xRESIST, Barbie Horse Trails, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, Firefighting Simulator: The Squad, GoldenEye 007, Great God Grove, Moonlighter, Pigeon Simulator, Police Simulator: Patrol Officers, Relic Hunters Legend, Total Chaos, Winter Burrow and Wreckfest.
If you're partway through 1000xRESIST or Moonlighter, you've got until November 15. Xbox Wire's post adds: "Save on these games now before they leave Game Pass!"
Perks and updates
Valorant's new agent, Hush, is available to Game Pass members now. From November 10, Microsoft Sudoku on PC gives members ad-free play, double XP and extra Coins in Daily Challenges, and on November 17 The First Descendant gets a Legacy Bundle for its Season 4 Episode 2 with an exclusive back attachment and spray. Xbox Wire lists all three across Ultimate, Premium, Essential and PC Game Pass. League of Legends also has a new ARAM Mayhem season on PC.
Jax's take: For me the interesting part is the swap at the bottom, not the headline games. I'd be sad to see GoldenEye 007 go, and I reckon Banjo, Perfect Dark and Viva Piñata landing on Essential on the same day is a nice consolation for people on Essential. If one of the leavers is on your list, I'd play it before the 15th.
