The bracket gives Nongshim the direct route
VLR's current event bracket records Nongshim RedForce beating Global Esports 2-1 in the upper final. That result moved Nongshim directly into the grand final and sent Global Esports into one more elimination match. Global Esports then survived the lower final to secure the second grand-final place.
The earlier 2-1 result is useful context, but it is not a prediction for the best-of-five. A grand final uses a longer format, a fresh map veto and a new match day. The only safe conclusion from September 4 is that Nongshim won that particular best-of-three and earned the shorter path to the title match.
Riot's official Stage 2 overview says the lower final and grand final are both best-of-five series. It also confirms that the top two Stage 2 finishers qualify for Champions Shanghai. With both teams now in the grand final, the remaining question is regional placement rather than whether either finalist reaches Champions through the Stage 2 top-two route.
Stage 2 ends with the September 6 title match
VLR lists the grand final for September 6 at Sajik Indoor Gymnasium in Busan, the venue for the closing playoff stage. The event page shows Nongshim RedForce against Global Esports as the final remaining matchup after a playoff bracket that began in late August.
Nongshim's run through the upper bracket gave it a rest day after the September 4 upper final. Global Esports played again on September 5 to eliminate T1. That scheduling difference is factual, but it does not establish an advantage: teams can respond differently to extra preparation time, consecutive match days and a longer series.
The best-of-five format also gives both sides more room to recover from an early map loss. A team can drop two maps and still win the series, so viewers should not read the first result as if it carries the same weight as a short best-of-three opener.
For viewers, the safest place to confirm the local start time and official broadcast is the VALORANT Esports schedule, because regional display times can differ. The matchup itself is settled: Nongshim RedForce and Global Esports are the final two teams, and September 6 decides the VCT Pacific Stage 2 champion.
