Rockstar Games has announced *Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album*, a 34-track collection of original music scheduled to arrive on November 19 alongside *Grand Theft Auto VI*. The company has also released or previewed the first six singles, giving the soundtrack its own rollout rather than treating it as a background detail of the game launch.
The album is being released with Atlantic Records. Rockstar's music page lists the project as 34 original tracks and points to streaming, CD and vinyl editions, while the Newswire announcement says additional details about the game's dynamic score and in-game radio will come later.
The first six tracks set a broad tone
The opening batch stretches across rap, pop, Latin music and rock. Rockstar names Yung Lean's "That's It" with Future and Metro Boomin; Travis Scott's "RHYNO," produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo; a collaboration from CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy titled "Sexy Magic"; Morgan Wallen's "Last Thing You Need"; Rauw Alejandro's "Macacoa 2000"; and Keith Richards' "Bright Lights, Big City."
That range fits a series whose radio stations have traditionally bounced between genres, but the album announcement is narrower than a complete map of the game's audio. Rockstar has not yet published the full 34-track list in the material announced so far, and it has explicitly held back more information about the dynamic score and in-game radio.
Physical editions are part of the rollout as well. Rockstar says the album will be available on vinyl and CD in addition to streaming, with pre-orders and retailer-specific details attached to the campaign. Those formats make this a standalone commercial music release with its own dedicated release cycle, not merely a playlist attached to the game itself.
What this does and does not tell us about GTA VI
The November 19 date is significant because Rockstar's current *GTA VI* material also lists that day for the game on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The album therefore gives Rockstar another launch-day product and another way to establish the game's version of Vice City through music before players have spent much time in it.
It would be easy to read the six singles as a complete statement about the soundtrack, but that would go beyond the announcement. Thirty-four original album tracks are only one part of the audio package Rockstar is describing. The company has not yet detailed how those songs will be distributed across radio stations, story moments or the dynamic score, and it has not said that the album represents every licensed song players will hear in the game.
For now, the concrete news is the scale and timing: 34 original tracks, six named singles, a November 19 release and physical as well as streaming editions. The next useful update will be Rockstar's promised information on radio and score, because that is what will show how this standalone album connects to the music players actually encounter while moving through *GTA VI*.
