Forza Horizon 6 adds a 7-Eleven car meet and Japan-themed collectibles

Horizon Meets adds a temporary 7-Eleven-inspired Car Meet in Forza Horizon 6, plus collectibles, reusable EventLab props and a separate North American retail promotion.

Forza Horizon 6 has added one of the more unusually specific stops on its map of Japan: a 7-Eleven-inspired convenience store where players can gather for a limited-time Car Meet. The Horizon Meets series began its Festival Playlist on October 8, bringing themed collectibles, player-created track props and rewards alongside the new gathering spot.

The collaboration is easy to mistake for a single branded giveaway. In fact, the in-game update and the real-world 7-Eleven promotion are different things, with different requirements and availability.

A konbini becomes a Car Meet

Players can find the temporary store and car gathering in Nangan, near the Nangan Day Trip area. The location functions as a meet-up point for showing off builds, discovering other players' creations and sharing liveries and tuning setups. Playground Games positions it as part of its Evolving World system, where the open world changes from series to series.

The store itself is temporary, but the accompanying Konbini Prop Pack has longer-lasting creative value. The developer says players can place convenience-store items in EventLab creations, garages and estates, including an entire konbini structure. That distinction is useful if you primarily create custom routes rather than participate in each seasonal playlist.

There is also an avatar Clerk Uniform inspired by Japanese store staff. Playground Games links unlocking that outfit to photographing the new Car Meet during the first week of the series, making it one of the early seasonal objectives to check.

Collect sandwiches, not just cars

Another reward adds a touch of deliberate silliness. Xbox's announcement says players can smash twenty Egg Salad Sandwich collectibles near the themed Car Meet during Autumn for Festival Playlist points and a Forza LINK reward.

Horizon Meets is bigger than the shop collaboration. Playground Games also lists new-to-Horizon reward cars including the 2025 BMW M4 CS, 1968 Holden Monaro GTS 327 and 2000 Honda Prelude Type SH. Players can explore additional Horizon Play levels, a new Treasure Car clue and new Spec Racing options. The studio separately published update notes covering technical fixes and improvements.

That wider list is worth keeping in view. Players who have no particular affection for convenience-store branding still have other reasons to open the update, while creators can experiment with the permanent EventLab props after the temporary Car Meet disappears.

The real-world deal is geographically limited

The 7-Eleven partnership has a separate retail component. Through October 27, participating US and Canadian 7-Eleven stores are promoting a Toyota Supra GR in-game livery and a Slurpee offer tied to eligible Xbox Gift Card purchases made with 7Rewards. Xbox also announced branded merchandise through 7Collection.

That is not a global in-game unlock everyone receives simply by logging in. Store participation, geography, account eligibility and the promotion's dates matter. Players outside those markets should not assume the same offer applies to them.

The core Horizon Meets update, meanwhile, is a Forza Horizon 6 game update with its own playlist schedule. Xbox says the update is available to download, while the festival activities began rolling out October 8.

Horizon has always been as much about meeting other drivers as racing them. A branded car park might sound like a small addition, but in a game built around shared drives and vehicle customisation, a place to gather can be a meaningful feature.

The real test is whether players keep using the new location while it is present and take the prop pack into their own events afterwards. The collaboration gives them both a short seasonal activity and some reusable tools, without requiring anyone to care about the associated shopping promotion.
